Inspiration
DND is a fun interactive RPG. However whenever you want to create a new character you generally have to get a new character sheet and fill it out.
What it does
Our goal was to create an app that allowed you to easily create a new character, and auto filled in abilities and stats for the class and race.
How we built it
We used React, MongoDB, and DaisyUI for styling.
Challenges we ran into
Man react is weird. We spent a few hours on a problem revolving React and rendering and we still don't really know what happened.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how our character display looks as well as the functionality of auto completing abilities.
What we learned
We learned a lot about patience, and the value of friendship.
What's next for Realm Roster
Reworking a lot of the functionality so that it works better. We also wish we had more time for styling because we could make the site look a lot cleaner
