What if we could make virtual reality even better? What if we could incorporate precise hand motions? These were the questions that drove us to develop our project. Using the power of the Oculus Rift, Leap Motion, and the Unity Game Engine, we were able to create two unique demos that exploit the best of these technology. For instance, you could play as a rogue wizard with the ability to shoot fire out of your hands with a simple gesture. This kind of technology is especially eye-catching to teenagers and adults, and we are sure that it will impress people of all ages as the hardware and software continues to advance in the future.
