Inspiration
Every time we have to install a new JIRA instance or to configure a complex one is necessary to check what is going on with your JIRA, for that purpose the best place to go is the log.
But sometimes this task isn't easy at all, sometimes you cannot access the machine, because don't forget that JIRA log is stored in a file. And even if you have access to the file, looking to a log is tedious and also difficult to find the exact thing you want.
What it does
Tail Log provides a good way to view your JIRA log inside JIRA itself, without the need to find an external file, also you can view how the changes are appearing in real time. Perfect for admins that don't want to waste their time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that now is possible to check the log in real time under any circumstances saving a huge amount of time to admins
What's next for Tail Log
We are thinking to take the log view analysis to the next level, doing even easier to check logs, receiving alerts based on a search or a pattern and allowing to check more JIRA important files.
