Inspiration

With the rising numbers of covid-19, restrictions, and various outbreaks at hospitals, telemedicine is now important more than ever. Many patients are not visiting hospitals in fear of contracting covid-19. Therefore, Telehealth Care+ is a one-stop solution. Patients can consult a doctor virtually, make appointments and view their past medical reports online.

Renewing medical prescriptions is a major part of health care. Without having to visit the doctor in-person or having to contact the doctor for prescriptions, patients can now renew their prescriptions completely online. Along with renewing medical prescriptions, ordering medicine is also important. Instead of going to the pharmacy to buy medicines, patients can also order medicines online.

It is also challenging for elderly people to go to a hospital or pharmacy to get medications. Therefore this website can help them solve their problems.

What it does

Telehealth Care+ is a web app that helps users in the following ways:

  • Consult a doctor online
  • Make appointments with a doctor or a nurse
  • View past reports
  • Find hospitals near them
  • View and pay medical pills online
  • Renew medical prescriptions
  • Order medicines

How I built it

This project is built with the help of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Jquery.

Challenges I ran Into

The major challenge I ran into was using google's maps geolocation service to get the location of the user to show the hospital near them. Another challenge I ran into was saving the information the user inputs. And the final major challenge was implementing the daily interactive map with data and table on covid-19.

Accomplishments I'm proud of

I'm proud that I built a project that will solve real-world problems and can help millions of people in daily life and being able to build this project in such a short amount of time.

What's Next for TeleHealth Care+

Telehealth Care+ can be improved in many ways. For example partnering with health care institutions to help patients and better support them, connecting to the database, implementing a live server, live chat system, connect with more hospitals, create staff and patient portals, newsletters, bill payable service, emergency contact services and many more!
