Inspiration
I really enjoy physics and wanted to create something that can benefit the physics education of others.
What it does
Simulates a projectile launching given properties of the projectile, such as initial velocity and angle.
How I built it
I built it using pygame.
Challenges I ran into
Figuring out what to do. Trying to line stuff up properly in pygame.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Actually finishing something.
What I learned
Don't spend 45 minutes trying to debug a convoluted formula and instead break it into steps. Have an idea earlier so you can start before 2am.
What's next for Virtual Projectile Motion Lab
Adding other components of physics to the game, modelling things such as forces, momentum, and harmonic and circular motion.
