Curiosity and Lifelong Learning is ranked the top 10 in report of World Economic Forum 2025. For next 5 years this skill is matter to keep workforce skill relevant to the industries requirement. But how to increase that skill? The one of way make learning path and ask "what did you learn today?" for every day. How to track today what we have learning?

What it does

For reason above I have build mobile application with name "WDYLT: Learn Tracker with AI". WDYLT is acronym of "What Did You Learn Today?". This application use AI to generate deep comprehension learning path for the workforce base on their preferences.

Reminder system will force the workforce to always learn something new (base on their preference) every day and track it. Every end of milestone AI will give them unique quiz (multi-choice and open-ended). The quiz to check did the user really learn today?

Offer PRO and Free tier. With PRO tier workforce will offered with more harden quiz.

How we built it

For mobile application I build with IONIC Framework combined with Capacitor. The AI use ChatGPT and Google Gemini (Vertex) - both AI work together to make sure the generated content always relevant base on workforce preference. Database use Supabase, of cource with a lot of custom PostgreSQL, not just JavaScript API.

This application build with composition: AI (30% for code generation) and human (70%).

Challenges we ran into

New to AI. I learn how use AI with effective way because AI is costly if not well fine tuned. Choice model base on requirement is not always easy. Don't kill mosque with bazooka.

How to orchestration model to give the best result. How to implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) with existing data to make sure milestone or quiz not repeated.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

For 3 weeks I have a lot of about AI and implement it, not just read! but build into real product what can be used for workforce to increase their skill every day.

What we learned

AI now is important part for many of industries. AI help us work more fast and efficient. Choose the suitable AI model is not always easy. I learn how make onboarding page inside mobile application more effective.

Scrape entire course in Udemy then processing with AI to generated the best learning path ever!
