ZeWa-Zero Waste

Inspiration

The fact that many people are not aware that India is the third-largest emitter of greenhouse gases, accounts for 2.46 billion metric tonnes of carbon and generates 62 million tonnes of waste every year, from which only 31 million tonnes are discarded in landfills. You cannot solve a problem until you acknowledge that you have one. We are here to raise awareness regarding this issue so that all of us take responsibility for solving it.

What it does

We are making an interactive and user friendly application, to spread awareness at a smaller level, as we strongly believe that change starts from a home level. Through our application, the user will be aware of their consumption on a daily/weekly basis, thus alerting them and creating a sense of responsibility to be better citizens by reducing their energy usage and monitoring their carbon footprints and waste generation.
