Marc Nordberg has been the Counselor for Political and Economic Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia since 2023, and acting DCM since July 2025. He has previously been posted in Bulgaria, Israel, Estonia, Belarus, and Belize, as well as serving in Washington DC as a desk officer covering Bulgaria and Hungary, and as deputy director of the European Affairs Press office. Marc has studied Russian, Ukrainian, Hebrew, Bulgarian, and Georgian. He is married with one son at university.
