In the second season of Cardo, María leaves prison, ready to make up for lost time, with the intention to completely rebuild her life. She wants to get away from her past life of addiction and find a stable job, but soon discovers that life is not easy for an ex-convict and that the relationship she once had with her friends is no longer the same – she has been left alone.
