The United States Embassy Maseru Consular Section provides emergency passport and emergency citizenship services. The United States Consulates in South Africa cover all routine services, such as passport renewals for American Citizens residing in or visiting in Lesotho. If you are renewing your passport via mail/courier services and would like to retain your passport during the renewal process, please email USConsularMaseru@state.gov or call us +266 22312666 to book an appointment (Appointments are Mondays at 10am) to certify a copy of your passport after using South Africa’s passport wizard.
