hi, i'm mohammad

i like to create things with words, computers, and materials. i like being a generalist. i like how art, design, science, and engineering inform one another. i like exploring how everything is mediated by culture, economics, and other human artifacts. i like soccer and cooking and gardening and woodworking and animals and chess and more. and i like technology and the internet.

this website is my tiny plot of cyberspace. it highlights some projects, work, and other stuff you'd expect to find on a personal site. but mostly i'm just using it to explore my interests publicly. i'll be adding written notes, tiny apps, and other stuff soon. as much as i love today's internet, this site is in the spirit of the fading old web.

a few more biographical notes: i'm the founder of co ai, a startup working to make ai multiplayer, directable, and accessable. in the past, i've worked at tech companies like google and multilaterals like the world bank. i also angel invest — reach out if you're looking for early funding or your first check. i'm lebanese-american and i live in san francisco with my wife, daughter, and cat. contact me to get in touch.
