The United States Consulate in Ponta Delgada is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 12:30 and 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., except Portuguese and American holidays. American citizens with emergencies may visit the Consulate anytime during business hours or contact us by phone at (+351) 296-308-330. In case of an emergency outside of business hours, American citizens should call the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon (+351) 21-727-3300 and ask to be transferred to the officer on duty in the Azores.
