Emiliano Kargieman

CEO & Founder

Emiliano Kargieman serves as Chief Executive Officer at Satellogic. He has spent the last 25+ years building technology and technology companies.

In 2010, after spending some time at the NASA Ames Campus in Mountain View, he started developing the concepts that would become Satellogic.

Prior to co-founding the firm, Mr. Kargieman co-founded Core Security Technologies, where he has served in several operational roles and developed the first automated penetration testing software, earning the loyalty of clients such as Apple, Cisco, Homeland Security, NSA, NASA, Lockheed Martin, and DARPA.

Previously, Mr. Kargieman has independently consulted for several corporations and government agencies. He also started three other technology endeavors and served as a Member of the Special Projects Group at the World Bank. He is currently a member of the Forbes Tech Council.

As the co-founder and Managing Director of venture capital firm Aconcagua Ventures, Mr. Kargieman focused on investing in high-tech startups in Latin America to develop them as global businesses. In 2009, he co-founded GarageLab, a problem-solving laboratory based on an innovative multidisciplinary approach involving science, technology, art and business.

Emiliano has a formal background in Number Theory and Philosophy and is married to Pola, a fiction author who shares his passion for technology. When not thinking about, or building technology, Emiliano enjoys reading, writing, playing chess and other random sports. He is trying to learn to play the trumpet.

Gerardo Richarte

CAO & Founder

Gerardo Richarte is a co-founder and Chief Architect Officer at Satellogic. In his role, he is responsible for defining the company’s technology vision and creating the overall software architecture, while also leading the software, systems, and cloud architecture teams.

Mr. Richarte has run technology labs and led teams to build cutting-edge technology for over 25 years, and was widely recognized for his reverse engineering and security expertise.

Prior to co-founding the firm, Gerardo founded Disarmista, a specialized boutique engineering and reverse-engineering services company. Previously, Mr. Richarte co-founded Core Security Technologies, where he has served as R&D Leader and developed the first automated penetration testing software, earning the loyalty of clients such as Apple, Cisco, Homeland Security, NSA, NASA, Lockheed Martin, and DARPA. He has also independently consulted and taught courses for big corporations and government agencies around the world.

Gerardo has a background in computer programming, electronics and mathematics.

Rick Dunn

CFO

Rick Dunn serves as Satellogic’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Dunn brings over 25 years of financial leadership to the company that includes executive roles in both public and private companies as well as over 10 years in public accounting.

Most recently, Mr. Dunn was Chief Financial Officer of PowerTeam Services, which he helped sell to new private equity owners in September 2018. Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer of ACN, Inc. (a wireless operator and energy reseller) and Trilogy International Partners (a wireless carrier) and Corporate Controller for Western Wireless International. In addition, his experience includes 10 years with the public accounting firm of Grant Thornton LLP.

He received his BBA from Pacific Lutheran University and an MBA from Seattle University and is an alumnus of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business Executive Program. Rick is also a licensed CPA.

Alan Kharsansky

CTO

Alan Kharsansky serves as Chief Technology Officer at Satellogic. He joined the company in 2011 and since then has been leading efforts in electronics, power systems, and eventually served as the lead satellite systems engineer. Most recently, Alan served as VP of Mission Operations.

Mr. Kharsansky has over 10 years of electronics engineering experience and has worked in robotics projects and research before joining Satellogic.

Alan has a Masters degree in Engineering and Management, focusing on system design and management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jeff Kerridge

Senior Vice President of Global Sales

Jeff Kerridge serves as Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Satellogic, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the geospatial, defense and intelligence (D&I) community. In this role, he leads Satellogic’s global sales and growth strategy, focusing on expanding the company’s market position with D&I and civil government partners worldwide.

Jeff is a recognized leader who has been a cornerstone of the commercial geospatial industry’s growth, seeing its evolution from the early days of EarthWatch through its transformation into Maxar Intelligence (now Vantor). Before joining Satellogic, he spent over 27 years at Maxar, culminating in his role as Senior Vice President of International Sales and GM. There, he led a global team that booked over $1 billion in sales across a seven-year period, securing cornerstone agreements with key U.S. allies and international partners, including the Japan Ministry of Defense, Australian Geospatial Intelligence Agency, and Korea National Intelligence Service.

Previously, Jeff held senior roles at BlackSky, focusing on international corporate strategy, and at Aireon LLC, where he served as Vice President of International Business Development. His extensive career began with an over a decade tenure at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he served in a variety of capacities, including Strategic Planning, Analyst, and Division-level Manager.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography/Remote Sensing from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Lorri Kohler

SVP, Operations

Lorri Kohler brings over 20 years of experience in governance, compliance, and business operations to Satellogic.

Most recently, she led compliance, data security, and IT transformation at ACN, Inc., a half-billion-dollar essential services business operating across 27 countries. Before joining ACN, Kohler managed these same areas of responsibility for the nine-billion-dollar networking engineering hardware, software, and professional services business group at Cisco Systems. Prior to joining Cisco, Kohler served as the governance, operations, and vendor management director for the software and professional services group with Lenovo. Previously, she worked as one of the original founders of a startup where she wore many hats working to build and establish the business until acquired in the early 2000’s. 

Lorri earned her Masters in Business Administration from San Diego State University focusing in Computer Information Systems and Marketing Management. She earned her Bachelors of Science from California State University East Bay in Business and Economics.

Dustin Greer

SVP, Corporate Controller

Dustin Greer serves as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller for Satellogic (NASDAQ: SATL), where he leads global financial operations, SEC reporting, and technical accounting. He also provides leadership of the company’s global tax function and supports capital markets activities and related SEC disclosures.

Prior to joining Satellogic, Dustin spent nearly a decade at Trilogy International Partners (TSX: TRL), where he was a core member of the leadership team supporting the company’s $875 million business combination and 2017 public listing—the first successful SPAC qualifying acquisition in Canadian history. During his tenure, he supported nearly $1 billion in capital transactions, including $825 million in debt raises, and contributed to enterprise value creation initiatives, including international M&A and the monetization of the company’s New Zealand operations. He also led executive operating and Board reporting processes, partnering with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making across global operations.

Dustin began his career in the audit practice at EY. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Linfield University and an MBA from Seattle University. He is a Certified Public Accountant

Ryan Driver

SVP, Finance & Corporate Development

Ryan Driver serves as Senior Vice President of Finance & Corporate Development at Satellogic, bringing over a decade of strategy, finance, and M&A experience within the Earth Observation and aerospace industries. In his current role, he leads the company’s global strategic partnerships, corporate expansion initiatives, finance, and investor relations.

Since joining Satellogic in 2021, Mr. Driver has established a strong track record of executive leadership and execution. Advancing from his previous roles as Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Development, and recently, Global Business Development, he has successfully structured and closed multi-year strategic agreements that accelerated revenue growth, enhanced product capabilities, and secured critical long-term infrastructure. Additionally, he has been instrumental in executing capital market strategies, guiding fundraising rounds, and expanding analyst coverage.

Prior to Satellogic, Mr. Driver held key strategy and corporate development roles at Maxar Intelligence and DigitalGlobe, driving organic and inorganic growth initiatives. He began his career at KPMG, building a robust foundation in audit assurance and financial due diligence.

Mr. Driver earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Economics, both from the University of Denver.
