Partnerships
With Purpose

Goodwill Industries International (GII) collaborates with like-minded partners to enhance people’s dignity and quality of life by strengthening communities, helping job seekers build skills and reach their full potential through learning and the power of work, and sustaining our environment by keeping millions of usable items out of landfills.

GII seeks partnerships with companies that have strong brand identities and reputations, and that are committed to expanding access to good jobs and sustainable careers. Key factors in evaluating potential partners include the ability to leverage corporate assets, raise awareness, contribute to priority initiatives through philanthropic investment or fundraising efforts, and actively engage employees and leadership. Goodwill Clean Tech Accelerator™: The Future Lies in Clean Tech

Image

The U.S. clean energy sector is booming — with job growth on track to triple by mid-2030s. Nearly 40% of these jobs don’t require degrees. Yet, many employers are struggling to find trained talent. We launched our Goodwill Clean Tech Accelerator (GCTA) program to bridge the gap between job seekers and businesses — and we do so through intensive, in-person, multiweek, certification-based courses that help put people in jobs and on the path to a career in clean energy.

This program launched in partnership with Accenture and General Motors to target the most in-demand clean energy jobs to fill this critical talent gap. There are three training pathways: solar installation, HVAC/heat pump installation and electric vehicle supply equipment technician.

  • We are seeking partners to amplify the reach and impact of the Goodwill Clean Tech Accelerator, creating pathways to equitable and sustainable employment in the clean energy sector.
