Institutional-Grade Bitcoin Yield. Without the Complexity

About us

Acre is a Bitcoin yield infrastructure company — Institutional-grade Bitcoin yield. Without the complexity. Our Infrastructure is built for family offices, funds, custodians, banks, and financial platforms that hold Bitcoin and want to put it to work. Acre's vault infrastructure sources, vets, and manages yield-generating strategies for Bitcoin. Organizations deposit Bitcoin and receive Bitcoin back — automatically compounded, with no synthetic assets, no unwanted tokens, and no indefinite lock-up. All vaults are audited, risk-screened, and approved by the Acre Security Council — which includes executives from Lido, Anagram, LedgerPrime, and Threshold. Vault infrastructure is built and managed with Re7 Labs (strategy & risk management) and Midas (24/7 monitoring). Acre launched on mainnet in 2024 and has supported over $100M in Bitcoin deposits. Led by CEO Laura Wallendal. Founded by the team behind Thesis, tBTC, Mezo, and Fold — organizations with over a decade of Bitcoin experience. • Over the past four weeks, we explored a fundamental shift in global finance: Everyone wants to be a bank. From fintech platforms to crypto-native companies to traditional financial institutions, the lines between technology and banking infrastructure are rapidly dissolving. At the same time, institutional adoption of Bitcoin continues to accelerate — with capital actively seeking ways to move beyond passive holding toward productive deployment. But one challenge remains clear: Infrastructure. This week, we’re hosting a special Acre Community Call to bring the full narrative together. We’ll cover: • The convergence of fintech, crypto, and traditional finance • How institutions are evaluating Bitcoin as an asset • Why infrastructure — not access — is now the bottleneck • The role of vault infrastructure in enabling capital deployment Whether you’ve followed the full series or are just starting to explore this space, this session will provide a clear and structured overview of where the industry is heading. 🗓 Tuesday, April 14 ⏰ 2:00 PM EST 📍 Live on Discord Join us 🤝 : https://discord.gg/acre

  • Thank you for hosting this event!

I’m excited to be part of the AI, Crypto, & Blockchain Developing AZ event for #AZTechWeek. "This isn’t your typical sit-and-listen event." is an understatement! The organizers have built a round-robin format, with high-impact sessions from builders and operators working at the edge of AI, Web3, and blockchain. Real insights. Real applications. No fluff. Trying to make sense of where AI and crypto technologies are actually going? This is the room to be in. As Head of Institutional & Ecosystem Operations at AcreBTC, I spend my time bridging the gap between complex blockchain infrastructure and real-world adoption—helping people understand Bitcoin, use it with confidence, and unlock its potential without friction. Events like this matter because they bring this mission to life—face-to-face, with people who are building, questioning, and pushing things forward. Huge respect to PJ W., Shelton Beascochea, and the entire AI Film 3 team. I’ve had the chance to work alongside them over the years, and they consistently show up with real passion for emerging tech and empowering people to actually use it. • Bitcoin is evolving — so are the conversations around it. We spent time on the ground at Bitcoin Vegas last year and pulled together a clear breakdown of: • What these conferences are all about • Why they matter to attendees • And what you can expect in 2026 If you’re thinking about attending — or just trying to understand where Bitcoin is heading — this article gives a solid lens. 👇 Full feature below

  • A shift is happening in real time: Bitcoin is moving from an asset… to part of the financial infrastructure. Over 200 companies now hold BTC on their balance sheets. Institutional interest continues to grow. But the real challenge is no longer exposure. It’s execution. How do you actually manage Bitcoin as treasury capital? How do you evaluate risk? How do you think about allocation? What happens after BTC is on the balance sheet? This is where the conversation is heading. And it’s the focus of today’s Acre Community Call. 📅 Today — 2PM ET 💼 Bitcoin Treasury Strategy — Community Panel If the next phase of Bitcoin is about capital, this is the layer that matters. • Tomorrow, we continue a conversation we started last week at Acre: Everyone wants to be a bank. The financial system is being rebuilt across fintech, crypto, and traditional finance — not by a single institution, but by modular layers of infrastructure. This week, we focus on one of the most important questions within that shift: How are companies actually approaching Bitcoin as treasury capital? More companies are adding Bitcoin to their balance sheets. More advisors are evaluating digital assets within portfolio construction. And the conversation is evolving from: “Should we hold Bitcoin?” to “How do we allocate and manage it?” 📅 This week’s Acre Community Call: 💼 Bitcoin Treasury Strategy — Community Panel We’ll explore how financial professionals are thinking about: • Bitcoin as a treasury asset • allocation and risk frameworks • capital deployment decisions • the role of infrastructure in adoption If you're thinking about where Bitcoin fits in corporate finance, this is the conversation. • This week, we kicked off a new conversation at Acre: Everyone wants to be a bank. The discussion is focused on how financial infrastructure is being rebuilt across fintech, crypto, and traditional finance — not by a single institution, but by modular layers. Next week, we take the next step: How are companies actually using Bitcoin as treasury capital? Over the past year, Bitcoin has moved from the edge of corporate finance into active discussion inside boardrooms, treasury teams, and investment committees. More companies are adding BTC to their balance sheets. More advisors are evaluating digital assets as part of portfolio construction. And the conversation is shifting from: “Should we hold Bitcoin?” to: “How do we allocate and manage it?” 📅 This week’s Acre Community Call: 💼 Bitcoin Treasury Strategy — Community Panel 📍 Discord.gg/acre We’ll explore how financial professionals are approaching: • Bitcoin as a treasury asset • risk and allocation frameworks • capital deployment decisions • the evolving role of infrastructureIf you're thinking about where Bitcoin fits in corporate finance — this is the conversation.

  • ICYMI — yesterday we kicked off a new conversation inside the Acre community: Everyone wants to be a bank. Over the next four weeks, we’ll explore this idea through a series of discussions focused on how financial infrastructure is evolving across Bitcoin, crypto, and traditional finance. This week marked the launch of the series — and one idea quickly became clear: The financial system is being rebuilt — not by a single institution, but by layers of infrastructure. On this week’s Acre Community Call, our team — alongside contributors from across the ecosystem — explored how fintech platforms, crypto protocols, and institutions are converging around Bitcoin finance. Hosted by Nico, Head of Ecosystem at Acre, the discussion featured: • Peteya — Community Operations Manager • Judy — Lead Moderator & Social Ambassador • Victor — Moderator Manager & Contributor at Threshold DAO Together, we unpacked what it actually means to “be a bank” in 2026 — while taking live questions from the community. 💡 Key themes from the discussion: 1. Banking is becoming modular Banks historically controlled deposits, treasury, lending, payments, and risk. Today, those functions are being separated and rebuilt across fintech platforms, crypto infrastructure, and protocols. 2. Bitcoin is moving beyond an asset The conversation is shifting from: “Should we hold BTC?” to “How do we deploy Bitcoin as capital?” This is where treasury strategy and infrastructure begin to matter. 3. Infrastructure is the bottleneck Institutional interest in Bitcoin continues to accelerate. But deploying capital productively still requires: • secure custody • risk-managed strategies • operational clarity • simplified access to yield 4. Vault infrastructure is an emerging layer As the ecosystem evolves, new infrastructure is being built to bridge capital and opportunity. This is where Acre is focused — providing institutional-grade onboarding and vault infrastructure for Bitcoin capital. This call marks the beginning of a four-week series exploring: • Bitcoin treasury strategy • vault infrastructure • institutional adoption • the future of Bitcoin finance 📅 Next Week Community Panel — Bitcoin Treasury Strategy Featuring Alex from Bitcoin for Corporations Join us! 2:00PM EST discord.gg/acre
