At Adaptive, we use 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗦𝗠𝗥) throughout the Aeron stack for this reason. By enforcing a strict, ordered log of events, 𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 ensure that system state remains predictable across any number of nodes.
