Today we're excited to announce the deployment of Spot® from Boston Dynamics at our Copper One operation in Utah! This deployment signals another step forward in building the world’s only autonomy-first mine. But this isn’t simply about adding a robot to a mine. It’s about what happens when hardware becomes part of a unified software system. At Copper One, Spot® is fully integrated into our MarianaOS software stack, transforming the robot from a standalone inspection tool into a continuously operating data node across the site. It captures thermal, acoustic, and visual data in real time, feeding directly into workflows, alerts, and predictive models.
