Small world, big community 💫 On our way to dinner, we ran into ColorStack alum Hebron Mekuria — a reminder that no matter where we go, our community is never too far. Always love seeing our alumni out in the world doing their thing and continuing to build 💙

We want to give a huge thank you to Site Reliability Engineer Jazmine Panora for taking the time to speak with our ColorStack UST club! Our co-president Michael Rosas Ceronio first met her last year at the SHPE Twin Cities Professionals Gala, where her story left a lasting impression. That initial connection grew into this opportunity, showing just how powerful networking can be. As a Site Reliability Engineer at Microsoft, her insights were incredibly meaningful for us as college students and gave us a lot of hope and motivation to keep pushing toward our goals. It meant a lot to have her speak to students from both ColorStack and SHPE. We truly appreciate her time and are grateful she came to share her experience with us!

With this in mind, we urge the tech community to create spaces where neurodiverse talent is supported, valued, and empowered to thrive 💙

One year in ColorStack, and I am incredibly grateful for the experience. In that time, I attended the 2025 Stacked Up Summit, co-founded the ColorStack Chapter at FSU, and currently serve as President. From September until now, we have grown the organization by more than 20 active members. It has been a privilege to share career guidance, foster a community of ambitious students at FSU, and create meaningful impact on campus; all while having fun! I look forward to making the most of my final four weeks as President and as an undergraduate student. 🥹
