A new report from Digital Science CEO Dr Daniel Hook reveals China is outstripping the rest of the world in AI research volume, citation attention, and influence. 🇨🇳 His report is: "DeepSeek and the New Geopolitics of AI: China’s ascent to research pre-eminence in AI.” 🔗 See the key findings of the report in our announcement: https://ow.ly/wHnt50Wnwsk Using data from Dimensions, Dr Hook has found that China's 2024 AI research output matched the combined output of the US, UK, and EU. Plus, China is now the top AI research collaborator for the western world.
