Moving on up! With Alpha Flight 8 in the integration and test phase, we're hitting stride on our Automated Fiber Placement machine and building four carbon composite barrels at once for multiple flights. These automated manufacturing processes allow us to enhance quality and reliability across the vehicle as part of our Alpha Block II upgrade.

Firefly Aerospace was honored to meet with General Whiting, Commander of U.S. Space Command, alongside our SciTec subsidiary team at the 41st Space Symposium in Colorado Springs this week.

Big things happening at the Rocket Ranch! Standing 95 ft tall, our first stage tanks for our Eclipse rocket are on the stand for structural testing. This risk reduction test will push the tanks beyond their limits to verify our flight margins. More to come soon! Northrop Grumman #EclipseRocket

Real-time intelligence from the Moon! Our Ocula lunar imaging service will leverage NVIDIA's Jetson module and Firefly's AI software to enable on-orbit processing in lunar orbit and transmit more timely, actionable insights to customers. Separation test complete for Blue Ghost Mission 2! This test demonstrated the mechanisms on Elytra that release our Dual Payload Attach Fitting and enable the deployment of the European Space Agency - ESA’s Lunar Pathfinder satellite into lunar orbit following separation of Blue Ghost.
