Photo geolocation for investigations: indoor/outdoor matching across hotels, apartments & streets. Cloud or On-Prem

About us

GeoEvident provides photo geolocation for investigations—indoors and outdoors. From a single image or video frame, it surfaces ranked location candidates and returns results as Hotel, Apartment, or Street View. Built for GovTech and enterprise teams (law enforcement support, border security, insurance SIU, corporate investigations, AML/Compliance, and vetted OSINT verification), GeoEvident helps verify where imagery was captured by matching visual cues across large-scale, location-linked image sources. Outputs include evidence matches to support analyst review, documentation, and internal oversight. Key capabilities Indoor + outdoor matching (rooms, lobbies, public interiors, streetscapes) Evidence matches and comparison-ready outputs for rapid verification Case workflow with report generation and exportable case artifacts Full audit logs and role-based access control (RBAC) Cloud and On-Prem deployment options Cloud: centralized management; SSO available on select plans On-Prem: network-isolated / air-gapped operation with offline updates GeoEvident is offered contract-only to verified organizations (KYB). • Genuine question for investigators and legal professionals: Would you trust AI-generated location evidence in a court case? A) Yes — if the methodology is documented and auditable B) As supporting evidence, but not as primary proof C) No — human verification only D) It depends on the tool and the jurisdiction This is a real question the industry is working through. AI-generated evidence is increasingly being admitted in court. But standards vary significantly by country and case type. Our view: AI provides the lead. The human investigator validates and contextualises it. The documentation makes it admissible. What's your take? https://geoevident.com/ #LegalTech #AI #Evidence #Investigations #OSINT #GeoEvident

  • Photo metadata can be faked in 30 seconds. This is not a secret. Any investigator who's worked photo evidence for more than a year knows it. EXIF data — the timestamp, GPS coordinates, device model embedded in a photo file — can be edited with free tools available to anyone. So when a photo arrives with GPS coordinates pointing to Rome: Is that proof the photo was taken in Rome? No. It's proof that someone set the coordinates to Rome. Visual matching is different. You can't fake the architecture. You can't change the actual carpet pattern. You can't edit the style of light switches in a photo taken 3 years ago. Visual verification of location doesn't rely on what the file says. It relies on what the image actually shows. That's a fundamentally harder thing to fake. https://geoevident.com/ #OSINT #FraudDetection #PhotoEvidence #AI #Investigations #GeoEvident

  • OSINT for insurance fraud teams — a plain-language introduction. OSINT stands for Open Source Intelligence. It means: gathering information from publicly available sources. For insurance SIU teams, this typically includes: → Social media analysis → Public records verification → Location verification from photos and videos → Cross-referencing claims with digital evidence OSINT isn't hacking. It's structured, methodical research using what's already public. AI is changing what's possible. Tasks that once took days can now take minutes. Pattern matching that was impossible manually is now automated. Photo geolocation — identifying where a photo was taken — is one of the highest-impact OSINT skills for fraud teams. And it's now a tool, not just a skill. What OSINT methods does your team currently use? https://geoevident.com/ #OSINT #InsuranceFraud #SIU #FraudDetection #AI #GeoEvident

  • We asked one of our early clients what changed after implementing GeoEvident. Their answer: 'We cut the verification step from half a day to under 5 minutes. Our analysts stopped dreading photo cases. Now they're just another case.' — Head of SIU, insurance sector (identity confidential) That last part is what we care about most. Not just the time saved. The fact that a previously painful, manual, frustrating task became routine. That's what good tooling does. If you want to understand what that looks like for your team — DM us. We'll show you a live demo with your own photo. https://geoevident.com/ #InsuranceFraud #SIU #OSINT #AI #CustomerSuccess #GeoEvident

  • Every hour your analyst spends manually searching hotel photos is an hour not spent investigating. Let that land. Your most expensive resource — trained human judgment — is being used to Google curtain patterns. Not because the analyst isn't capable of more. Because no one gave them a better tool. This is the hidden cost of manual OSINT. Not just the hours. Not just the errors. The opportunity cost. Every hour spent on verification is an hour not spent on: → Building the case → Identifying new leads → Closing more files Better tools don't eliminate investigators. They make investigators more powerful. What would your team do with 4 hours back per case? https://geoevident.com/ #OSINT #FraudInvestigation #AI #Efficiency #InsuranceFraud #GeoEvident

  • The global OSINT market is growing at 25% per year. That's not a coincidence. It reflects something real: Investigations are going digital. Evidence is increasingly visual. Manual methods are hitting their limits. Every year, investigators handle more cases. Every year, fraudsters produce more sophisticated fake evidence. Every year, the cost of getting it wrong goes up. The demand for intelligent investigation tools isn't a trend. It's a structural shift. Teams that adopt AI-powered verification now will have a significant advantage over those that wait. The question isn't whether to modernise. It's when. https://geoevident.com/ #OSINT #AI #MarketGrowth #FraudDetection #Investigations #GeoEvident

  • The defence said the client was abroad. The prosecution needed to prove otherwise. The only available evidence: a photo from the client's social media, taken around the time in question. A hotel room. No geotag. No metadata. GeoEvident matched the image in 110 seconds. The hotel was domestic. Same city. Same neighbourhood. That's not a conclusion on its own. But it's a lead that changes the direction of the investigation. And it's a result that can be documented, timestamped, and presented. For legal investigations, the speed matters less than the auditability. Who found it. When. How. With what confidence. GeoEvident generates all of that automatically. https://geoevident.com/ #LegalInvestigation #Alibi #OSINT #AI #Evidence #GeoEvident

  • Identifying a location is only half the job. The other half is documenting it in a way that holds up. That's why every GeoEvident search generates a structured PDF report. What's inside: → The original uploaded image → The top matching locations with confidence scores → Property name and full address → Map with location pin → Timestamp of the search → Analyst ID (for audit trail) The report is designed to go directly into a case file. No reformatting. No copy-paste. No manual documentation. For investigations, compliance reviews, and insurance SIU — the output is as important as the result. A finding that can't be documented properly is a finding that can't be used. https://geoevident.com/ #GeoEvident #OSINT #Investigations #InsuranceFraud #Compliance

  • She opened the case file at 9:02am. A photo. A hotel room. A claim that the policyholder was in Portugal during the incident. She uploaded the photo to GeoEvident. 9:04am: result. The hotel was in Romania. Name, address, map pin. PDF report generated and ready for the case file. She didn't spend the morning on Booking.com. She didn't zoom into the power outlets. She didn't call a colleague who 'knows hotels.' By 9:10am, she was already on the next case. That's 8 minutes from photo to closed verification. This is what we built GeoEvident for. Want to see your own 8-minute verification? DM us. https://geoevident.com/ #InsuranceFraud #SIU #OSINT #AI #FraudInvestigation #GeoEvident

  • If your investigation tool touches evidence, it needs a proper audit trail. Here's what to look for when evaluating any OSINT or verification tool: 1. What events are logged? Every search, every result, every report export should be recorded. 2. Who accessed what? Logs should capture which user ran which query — not just that a query was run. 3. Can logs be tampered with? If yes, they're not useful for legal or compliance purposes. 4. How long are logs retained? For investigations, 12–24 months minimum is standard. 5. Can you export the audit trail? For regulatory reviews, you need to be able to produce it. GeoEvident's audit logs cover all of this. Because when evidence matters in court, so does the paper trail around how you found it. What audit requirements does your organisation have for investigation tools? https://geoevident.com/ #Compliance #AuditLog #Investigations #DataGovernance #OSINT #GeoEvident
