Supporting women’s entrepreneurship also means empowering initiatives rooted in local realities. In Madagascar, Baobab Banque Madagascar has launched the second edition of the AMPELA Trophy—an initiative dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. Built around three key pillars—Inform, Connect, Invest—the program is designed to strengthen skills, expand networks, and unlock access to opportunities aligned with each entrepreneur’s ambitions. The launch event featured inspiring and meaningful exchanges, with women entrepreneurs sharing their journeys with authenticity. Their stories reflect the diversity of paths, as well as the resilience and determination required to build and grow a business. Beyond the event, AMPELA embodies a broader ambition: fostering an environment where a new generation of women entrepreneurs can emerge, thrive, and create lasting impact.
