As such, we invite developers and entrepreneurs with diverse backgrounds from across the globe to improve their skills, explore novel technologies, and turn their interests and visions into new possibilities.   • Taking flight this November: HackRPI 2026: In the Clouds! 📅 November 7th-8th, 2026 📌Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, New York) We’re currently looking for sponsors to help HackRPI 2026 take off! At HackRPI, we firmly believe hackathons are a leading source of innovation and ingenuity. As such, we’re a student-run organization that hosts the annual hackathon at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. HackRPI 2026 marks the thirteenth year of our team’s efforts and experience in organizing these hackathons.   Each year, we invite students with diverse backgrounds from across the globe to form teams, generate novel ideas, and design original prototypes. We have encountered creative ideas ranging from cloud computing to agentic AI and machine learning, with some students continuing onwards after the event and even founding their own startups! The possibilities are endless. Last November’s hackathon had over 400 attendees, and we’re looking forward to hosting as many, if not more, this year. We firmly believe hackathons are a leading source of innovation and ingenuity. As such, we invite students with diverse programming backgrounds from across the globe to form teams, generate novel ideas, and design original prototypes. We have creative new ideas ranging from mixed reality navigation to quantum cybersecurity, with some students continuing forward after the event and even founding startups! Last November’s hackathon had upwards of 500 attendees, and we’re looking forward to hosting as many, if not more, this year! We’re currently looking for sponsors!
