#Hiring The McMaster Students Union is hiring a Campus Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of major campus events, including Welcome Week, Homecoming, Light Up The Night, and more! In 2025, the MSU was proud to receive the Canadian Event Award for Best Event by an Academic Institution, and this role plays a central part in delivering that level of excellence year after year. The Campus Events Manager oversees the MSU Events Department, manages production and risk planning, works closely with McMaster and City of Hamilton partners, and leads a dedicated events team from concept to execution. We are looking for a candidate with a related diploma, 5 years of experience, and 3 years in a supervisory role, along with strong production, and financial management skills. Evening and weekend work is occasionally required. Full-time benefits include 3 weeks vacation, 2 weeks personal days, year end paid time off, RRSP matching, tuition and gym reimbursement, cell phone allowance, and eligibility for annual CPI and step increases.
