Really enjoyed being part of the @SciLifeLab Bioinformatics Platform (NBIS) spring retreat in Ystad (9–11 March), and getting there together by our own chartered train from Uppsala via Stockholm and Linköping. A more sustainable way to travel, but also a great setup for conversations, meetings and just spending time together along the way. In Ystad, we had a packed programme with new staff presentations, interesting projects and ongoing work across our units, including updates on the SciLifeLab Integrative Data Support effort. On the way back, we wrapped up the retreat and started shaping plans for 2026. And not to forget: the vintage train from the Swedish Railway Museum, with restaurant-level meals cooked onboard, a really nice touch! For a distributed national infrastructure like NBIS, these in-person meetings make a real difference. They strengthen collaboration and, just as importantly, the sense of belonging across @SciLifeLab. More photos at: https://lnkd.in/er3mcDNH
