I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at InsurTech America Symposium next week. Happy to share some of the new portal designs and features we have developed at Radity. Many of these advanced products are integrated with our partners Socotra and Soteris who will also be on site. DM me if you want to connect in Hartford. #InsurTechAmerica #IAS2026 #InsurTechHartford #InsurTechEvent #FutureOfInsurance

Every MGA has a portal. Impact comes down to small decisions. Small decisions compound — in conversion, written premium, and retention. Too many fields before a price. Features built for stakeholders, not agents. Error messages that stop a submission. Complexity that kills trust. These are product decisions. I’ve been breaking these patterns down into simple flashcards — focused on underwriting, agent workflows, and real friction points. This is part of a larger set. If you want the full set, comment “cards” or message me — I’ll send it over.

AI is bending the effort curve in software development. What used to be ~20% effort to reach 80% now feels closer to ~10% effort to reach 90%. The last 10% of a real system can still take ~90% of the total effort. Everyone can build an MVP now. The real question is differentiation. - A 90% product is no longer enough, especially in complex, enterprise-grade software with integrations and domain constraints. - Differentiation now comes from the last 10%, not the first 90%. - Total costs are down, but expectations are up. - Today’s 100% still costs less than yesterday’s 100%, but reaching that final 100% still demands real engineering. That steep part of the curve is where we focus at Radity.

During the past few months at Radity I have been focused on the market need for rapid, agile technology implementation. I personally worked on projects that struggled to make it to market on time due to the gap between strategy and execution. M&A situations made the challenge even more complex.   To that end I've searched for the best partners to augment Radity's expertise in design and implementation. Today we are announcing our partnership with the StrataFusion Group. Ken Crafford and his team have the expertise to help move projects from "Board to Build" efficiently and on-time.   No endless steering committees, no bloated expenses, no meetings about meetings. Just focused execution and measurable results.   For a complimentary initial assessment on your needs DM me or Elinor MacKinnon. https://lnkd.in/gGdaQ6Yc

Agent portals are becoming one of the most strategic layers in insurance distribution. In 2026, they’re no longer just access points for quoting and binding. They’re platforms that connect agents, core systems, data, and operations into a single, scalable experience. That’s what we’ll explore in our upcoming LinkedIn Live, designed specifically for insurance carriers, MGAs, and insurtechs. We’ll share: • What modern agent and broker portals should enable in 2026 • How insurance organizations are evolving portal experiences on top of core systems • Where AI is enhancing speed, accuracy, and decision-making in insurance workflows • Operational insights from real-world implementations and growth-focused design choices This session is about what’s working, what’s next, and how insurance leaders can build portals that support growth, efficiency, and agent adoption. 📅 January 28, 2026 - 11:00am EST Thomas Capp (SVP) and Shahmir Khan Niazi (Product Manager) at Radity 👉 Register today and be part of what’s next for insurance portals. https://lnkd.in/g-QXWJs6
