🚀 Supercharging AI with Hyperparameter Optimization and HPC At VSC Users Day 2025, Eric Wulff (CERN) explored how high-performance computing (HPC) is accelerating the development and optimization of large-scale AI models. Training modern AI systems requires massive computational resources, especially when searching for optimal hyperparameters. This presentation shows how HPC infrastructures and distributed computing make it possible to efficiently explore large parameter spaces and significantly improve model performance. When we spoke with her, she also shared advice for women in HPC — words that resonate far beyond our field and that we are proud to share with all powerful women shaping the future of advanced computing: "Be strong.
