Your Path to Becoming a Certified Meshery Contributor Starts Here 🚀 The launch of the Certified Meshery Contributor (CMC) certification marked an important milestone for the Meshery, the first CNCF certification of its kind - designed to uplevel and validate the skills of contributors, who are actively shaping the Meshery ecosystem through real, hands-on open source work. 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 This study group has been formed to help you prepare for the Certified Meshery Contributor (CMC) certification while building an understanding of how to contribute across the different architectural areas of the Meshery project. You won’t be doing it alone, you’ll be learning alongside others on the same journey. It has 60-minute live sessions on Fridays where we gradually cover each certification unit – Meshery CLI (mesheryctl), Meshery Extensibility, Meshery Models, Meshery Server and Meshery UI. They are designed to help you prepare confidently for the exam through simple learning sessions, practical exercises, and interactive discussions. And yes… by the end of this study group, you’ll be ready for certification, a real, honest-to-goodness CNCF Certified Meshery Contributor certification to proudly pin to your profiles and resume. Meshery v1.0 arrived at #kubecon and Sean M. Kerner nailed something in his Networkworld coverage that deserves its own spotlight. Currently, AI isn't solving the infrastructure management problem - it's compounding it. Teams were already drowning in YAML sprawl, configuration drift, and tribal knowledge that walks out the door every time someone changes jobs. Now, LLMs generate infrastructure configurations faster than any team can meaningfully review them. The bottleneck was never a shortage of configuration. It is a shortage of comprehension. Speed without comprehension is just chaos.

I've been a fan of the great work Lee Calcote has been doing in the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) (and elsewhere) for years. Was great to connect with him on the big Meshery 1.0 release. This is one of the most active cloud-native open source projects and it could have transformational impact.
