Student film season is coming up and we’re hoping to see your films!

In preparation, we have new additions to our Animation Schools collection:

If you share an animated film made for school, tag your entry with “student-film” and the optional “thesis-film” tag if it’s your thesis film.

Additional context in the author commentary is helpful, including what school you are attending and what year of school you were in when you made the piece. Information like this helps people who are curious about schools.

If your school isn’t in the collection and has a handful of films on NG, let me know in this thread or via direct message.

On April 6th we’ll be increasing the minimum price for new Supporter purchases.

Flash Forward is in progress, inviting people to create new Flash games and movies. NG still runs Flash in the browser, thanks to Ruffle. Check out our latest API updates for medals, high scores and cloud saves, along with tutorials for analog gamepad support and daily games!

Winners of Pixel Day and our Best of February have been announced.

Our Best Games of March through August will have an additional $150 in prizes, courtesy of Lucky Tower on Steam!

Damn, I wish I were a film student.

But my toaster, colloquially known as a PC, is not suitable for that.

Another collection of Students Films added to the main collection of Animation Schools.

I will check some of it someday.

This is a good for the others who are in those schools to put your own animation on NG and get a chance in the official Collection.

Just a simple signature text, this signature not contains animated picture. I don't have a money to buy NG Supporter.

Nonsense, you could just use flash which will work on 10-15+ years old hardware as long as we're talking about pre creative cloud.

If my PC doesn't crash when trying to export anything longer than 2 minutes, I guess it's fine. We'll have to find the pirate hat

This cartoon was a project for my intro to animation class last fall, I'm in my junior year now. My school isn't really an art school and they just hired a guy to teach animation this year. I had a lot of fun making it.

It's for certain art/animation schools showing off their craft such as major projects on newgrounds, tom does this every year or so.
