Yep. You can just go down. 5K is basically impossible for some games even on the best GPUs for anything more than low/medium graphics

Well its not oled, so while there is some risk, its way lower.

That being said, its a tool I use and I have Apple care for it in case it breaks in a couple of years

There’s tons of software that let you do it yeah. I dont have a favorite as they all do the same stuff basically.

The price difference is massive and I think if you dont know you want 120hz and a ton of brightness then maybe just go see one in person and decide then.

It might not be worth the jump.

That being said if you do know you want it, there isnt really a better alternative
