Talks
Rethinking Authenticity, Power, and AI
As AI systems increasingly shape how we communicate, create, and connect, Annenberg experts ask what it means to be “real” in an era of generative media. Rather than treating AI as neutral, panelists will center the human experience; address questions of power, labor, governance, and inequality; and explore whether and how AI reveals the social hierarchies that have always structured whose voices are heard and believed. Free and open to the Penn community. Register by April 7 to attend.
Special Events
AI Month: Qualitative Research & AI
This session explores how AI is currently used for tasks such as coding and analytic support, while critically examining methodological, ethical, and epistemological implications. Participants will gain an understanding of opportunities, risks, and future directions for integrating AI into qualitative research practice. Light refreshments will be served for in-person attendees. Free and open to the public. Register to attend.
