ABOUT
Unifora Narrow is drawn at 87.5% of the standard character proportions—the most versatile width in the Unifora uniwidth variable sans-serif superfamily. It conserves horizontal space without the strict economy that Condensed demands, making it well-suited for sidebar labels, secondary navigation, compact body copy, and mobile layouts where breathing room is limited but readability must hold across longer passages.
Narrow bridges the utility of Condensed and the comfort of Standard: compact enough to pack information efficiently, open enough to read at length without fatigue. The uniwidth principle means that within Narrow, every glyph holds its advance width regardless of weight or style—interactive weight transitions such as a label shifting from light to bold on hover never reflow the surrounding text.
See the Unifora user’s manual for CSS font-face declarations, axis ranges, and OpenType feature recommendations for this width.
Unifora Narrow comes with 9 weights and matching italic and retalic styles with slants up to 18°. The variable font includes two axes: weight and slant.
