AI coding agents start every session blind. They re-read the repo, re-ask what was decided last week, search for code another agent already found, and collide with work a teammate's agent is doing right now. Switching between Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or a teammate's setup makes it worse: each one starts from zero. ContextStream is the shared context platform that fixes this. Connect any MCP client once, and every agent, yours and your teammates', works from the same live picture of your projects: • Code search that stays current: exact, grep-precise search and semantic search across every repo, kept in step with GitHub automatically, across projects. • Code graph and impact: see what calls what, and what a change will break, before an agent touches it. • Decisions, lessons, plans and docs: the why behind your code, captured as you work and surfaced when an agent needs it, so mistakes aren't repeated. • Live coordination: agents working in the same project are warned when their work collides, before it becomes a merge conflict. • Handoffs and capsules: pass a task between agents, sessions or people with its full context attached. • ContextCode: our own coding agent built on the platform, in the terminal and the browser. How it works: ContextStream runs as a hosted MCP server. Add it to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, VS Code, Windsurf, Cline, OpenCode or any MCP client, connect your GitHub repos, and your agents get grounded context on every turn. There are no prompts to maintain and no local index to babysit. For teams, ContextStream Team adds shared workspaces, team views, handoffs between people and agents, admin controls, and Coflow access, the workspace where people and AI agents work together (team spaces are rolling out). Free to start. No credit card.

How is a stored decision invalidated when the code or docs it depended on change? Source links and a visible stale state would help agents avoid carrying an outdated assumption into a new session.
