Which printers and tag formats does it support?

Anycubic ACE Pro (all fields, plus a way to match custom-brand filaments), Creality CFS, OpenSpool, OpenPrintTag and TigerTag.

What NFC tags should I buy?

It depends on the format. ACE Pro: NTAG213, NTAG215 or NTAG216. TigerTag: NTAG213. OpenSpool: NTAG215 or NTAG216 (its JSON needs the extra memory). OpenPrintTag: ICODE SLIX2 (NFC-V / ISO 15693). Creality CFS: MIFARE Classic 1K, written through an ACR1555U reader. If you only buy one kind, NTAG215 covers ACE Pro and OpenSpool. Stick it on any existing spool; no re-spooling needed.

How does Creality CFS writing work?

CFS spools use MIFARE Classic 1K tags, which iPhone NFC cannot write. Tag My Spool writes them through an external ACR1555U card reader paired with your iPhone. Materials sync from Creality or import from your printer’s file, and custom material IDs can be entered manually.

Is there a subscription?

No. Tag My Spool is a one-time $7.99 purchase on the App Store, works fully offline and supports Family Sharing.

What happens to my data?

Nothing leaves your devices except through your own iCloud. The App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”, and you can export everything as JSON at any time.

Is there an Android version?
