A pedestrian was killed after being struck near the ramp to I-275 in Union Township. (WKRC)

UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a pedestrian struck and killed in Union Township was walking in the road on SR 32 early Thursday morning.

OSHP says Christopher Latchford, 40, of Mt. Orab was walking on SR 32 at 4:10 a.m. when he was struck by a Kia Sportage.

Latchford was killed. OSHP hasn't said it they know why he was walking on SR 32.

The driver stopped and cooperated with investigators.
