ABOUT HO CHI MINH DEBATE OPEN 2024 - HCMDO 2024

Ho Chi Minh Debate Open is a tournament organized by The Colosseum - Vietnam National University HCMC High School for the Gifted debate club. It is the city’s first Asian Parliamentary Debate Tournament entirely in English.

Ho Chi Minh Debate Open goal is to create a high-quality, large-scale tournament with the participation of expert panels and international judges. Through this, we aim to enhance the presentation and critical thinking skills of students and scholars through debating - a relatively new but rapidly developing activity in the southern region of Vietnam.

Coming back from our phenomenal success in 2023, HCMDO 2024 organizing committee pledges to create a memorable debating experience for its participants.
