I've found the interpretations to be remarkably accurate, making this a valuable tool for self-reflection. The only slight drawback was the longer than expected delivery time, but the overall experience has been wonderful. Highly recommend!"

Beautiful cards. The paper quality is quite lovely, but they have to be broken in as they stick together a bit. Overall, I am very pleased!!! May buy a second deck just to have on hand in case I wear these out playing with them.

Let’s address the art first: some of these faces are… old. Like seasoned. Like they’ve seen war, betrayal, and several bad wigs. The illustrations are dramatic, moody, and occasionally a little weird in a way that makes you pause mid-shuffle and go, “Is that supposed to look like that?” It’s very on-brand for Westeros, honestly.

That said, the card stock is chef’s kiss. Thick, sturdy, luxurious—these cards feel expensive and built to survive political intrigue. The downside? They’re so thick that they sometimes stick together like they’re plotting something. You’ll go to pull one card and accidentally summon two, which feels extremely House Targaryen.

Despite the odd art moments, the deck is fun, thematic, and surprisingly readable once you lean into the chaos. Perfect for fans of the show who don’t mind a little uncanny valley with their divination.

Four stars because the vibes are strong, the card stock is elite, but the faces will haunt me.

I absolutely LOVE this deck and obsessed with house of dragons. The card details are beautiful quality of the cards are nice!

Only the major arcana and the court cards have full scenes, the rest are just icons. It says Rider Waite, but it is a Marseille deck. Once again these decks are not researched. In this day and age, the access to information, these mistakes shouldn't happen.

They are over sized

I knew better than to pre-order this deck without seeing the Minors... this is a pip deck (Marseille system not RWS) and many pip symbols just blend into the dark background. The print quality isn't great, as some borders on the cards are crooked/off-centre and many dark areas blend in with one another (unfortunately my camera brightened the images and make them look much more vibrant than IRL).

The cover of the guidebook demonstrates the the odd darkness in print (though brightened significantly by my camera). Images in the book are full colour, but also have the same issue.

The box is beautiful inside and out, as are the cards themselves. The matte finish feels more like an Indie deck than mass market, I just can't get past the images being overly darkened and the off-centre borders on some of the cards (see image of the X of Crowns compared to other cards).

I'm just glad that I paid the $22 preorder price rather than the retail price of $36 - sadly, it's not worth it :(
