Common questions
Will I lose my data if I switch phones or reinstall the app?
Your players, drills, scores and charted matches are stored privately on your device, not in the cloud — so nothing is uploaded automatically. Before switching devices, open Settings inside the app and export a full backup file, then use Import on your new device to bring everything across. The app also saves automatic snapshots as you go, so accidental changes can usually be undone from Settings → Restore.
Does CoachOn Tennis work without an internet connection?
Yes — charting a match, logging a drill, timing a session and reviewing technique all work completely offline. You only need a connection for things like restoring a Pro purchase on a new device or downloading app updates.
I upgraded to Pro but it's not showing on this device — what do I do?
Open Settings and use the Restore option — this re-checks your purchase with the App Store or Google Play and reapplies Pro if you're entitled to it. This is the normal way to bring your subscription across after reinstalling the app or switching devices.
What's the difference between the free plan and Pro?
The free plan covers a limited number of players, drills and charted matches, plus full Technical Analysis at no cost, so you can try the app properly before committing. Pro removes those limits and adds full player statistics over time, side-by-side Compare for video and photos, downloadable PDF reports, and multiple timers for squad sessions.
Can I get a refund?
Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google, so refunds need to go through them directly rather than us — Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google via the Play Store's order history. If you're having trouble with that process, email us and we'll point you in the right direction.
I found a bug, or have an idea for a feature — where do I send it?
Straight to sportscoachdev@gmail.com — a short description of what happened (and a screenshot, if it's visual) is always the fastest way for us to help or fix it.
