My scientific writing career started nearly a decade ago with my first application to a summer research internship. Since then, I've worked across academia and the biotech industry writing for regulators, clinicians, researchers, and patient communities. My portfolio ranges from peer-reviewed manuscripts and regulatory documentation to conference presentations and patient education materials.
I earned my PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Minnesota, where my preclinical research in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) produced six peer-reviewed publications, eight award-winning presentations, and a seat at the table with healthcare providers to advocate for the DMD patient community. At Diasorin, I authored the technical documentation behind global regulatory submissions. It is my mission to make scientific discoveries accessible to all through consistent, clear, and accurate communication.
