Fly the Flag

We encourage flag recipients to FLY THE FLAG in front of their home with pride–helping us paint neighborhoods RED, WHITE, and BLUE– knowing that patriotism and community begins right at home, with you!

Each color of the American flag
represents important American values

Red color

Valor, bravery, and willingness to sacrifice.

White color

Purity and innocence.

Blue color

Vigilance, perseverance, and justice.

There are 13 stripes on the flag– 7 red and 6 white.
These stripes represent the original 13 colonies.
