Biography
I work on the systems a bank can't afford to have fail — identity, fraud monitoring, settlement — at Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC. Four years in, I want to bring that production experience back to research, focused on applied machine learning.
My undergraduate thesis trained convolutional networks to recognize leukemia in microscope images. I'm applying to doctoral programs to return to that kind of work, with the systems intuition I've since built in banking infrastructure.
Academic Background

Work History
Senior Officer — Software Engineer
- Design enterprise banking systems supporting millions of daily transactions.
- Delivered the SSO Identity Provider, Transaction Monitoring System, and ATM Dispute Settlement System.
Product Engineer
- Built core banking features in Java, JSF, and PL/SQL used by multiple client banks.
- Optimized SQL queries, cutting batch processing time from hours to minutes.
Projects
Leukemia Recognition (CNN)
Trained convolutional networks to classify leukemia from blood-smear images, reaching 87% accuracy, with a supporting cell-localization pipeline in OpenCV.
SSO Identity Provider
Centralized sign-on integrating 10+ internal banking applications for 10,000+ employees.
Transaction Monitoring System
Fraud-detection platform analyzing 100,000+ daily transactions across five core banking systems.
