A data center is the physical foundation of the digital world. It houses the computing hardware, networking equipment, power systems, and cooling infrastructure that keep AI models, websites, cloud applications, and connected services running. Behind every digital experience is a complex network of servers, fiber optic cables, and infrastructure working together to move, process, and protect data.

Modern data centers range from enterprise server rooms to hyperscale campuses spanning millions of square feet that are built by Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Meta to support AI training, cloud compute, and global content delivery at scale that was unimaginable a decade ago.

What holds it all together? Thousands of servers connected by fiber optic and copper cabling, drawing power from redundant electrical feeds, cooled by sophisticated HVAC, and maintained around the clock by skilled technicians using precisely the right tools for every layer of the job.

Clean Fiber Isn't
Optional.

It's the Job.

Fiber contamination is one of the leading causes of network failures in data centers. A dust particle measured in microns, invisible to the naked eye, can attenuate a signal enough to cause loss across an entire switch. At 400G speeds, there's no margin for that kind of error.

Connector Cleaners

Fast, one-push cleaning for LC, SC, and MPO connectors. Jonard fiber connector cleaners advance to a fresh section of lint-free microfiber with every use, delivering consistent dry cleaning while reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

600+ cleans per reel

Wireless Inspection Scopes

You cannot clean what you cannot see. Digital inspection scopes at 200–400x magnification reveal contamination invisible to the eye, giving technicians pass/fail confidence before mating any connector in a live system.

One Press Automatic Pass/Fail Report

Cleaning Wipes & Fluid

Jonard’s wet wipes, dry wipes, and precision cleaning fluid give technicians fast, reliable cleaning options for bare fiber, connector end faces, and optical surfaces, helping deliver cleaner connections, lower loss, and more dependable results in the field.

Nonabrasive & Residue-Free Solvent

Complete Cleaning Kits

Everything technicians need for cleaning and inspection, organized in convenient kits. Jonard Tools Fiber Cleaning Kits combine precision connector cleaners, wipes, cleaning fluids, and inspection equipment for verifying cleanliness prior to connection.

The #1 Cause of Fiber Failure Is Contamination

Over 85% of fiber optic failures trace to contaminated end-faces. In AI-era data centers running 400G+ links, one dirty connector can trigger retransmissions across thousands of GPU connections, at a cost far exceeding the price of a Jonard cleaning kit.

The IEC 61300-3-35 standard defines cleanliness grades for fiber end-faces with Grade A being the highest, requiring zero contamination in the core zone. Every data center connector must meet it before going live.

Jonard cleaning tools achieve Grade A end-face cleanliness consistently across LC, SC, ST, FC, and MPO connector types, whether in a new installation or a maintenance window on a production system.

The protocol is non-negotiable: inspect first, clean if needed, inspect again. Never mate a connector you haven't inspected. Even factory-capped connectors can arrive contaminated.

AI Is Rewriting
the Rules for
Data Center

Infrastructure

AI training and GPU-intensive compute are driving a build-out of physical infrastructure at a scale the industry hasn't seen. Tech companies are committing hundreds of billions of dollars to new data center campuses; each requires dense fiber and network terminations, heavier power distribution, and technicians equipped to do the job right the first time.

Jonard Tools is engineered for exactly this environment. The right tool, every time, for every layer of the stack.

  • New campus timelines are compressed. Every field technician is working under tighter deadlines with less room for rework.
  • Rack power density has grown 10x in AI facilities. Electrical tools need to handle heavier conductors than legacy data center work required.
  • AI training clusters need near-zero connector loss and 800G-ready components as optical networking speeds become the baseline.
  • High termination volume means high failure exposure over time. Ongoing cleaning, inspection, and maintenance keep networks running at spec long after install.
