We're Bryce and Maegen McKee, a husband-and-wife team, and we bring classroom teaching, special education, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, behavior support, and family advocacy to everything we make. As educators, and as parents of neurodivergent children, we design tools that are inclusive, respectful, visually clear, and genuinely usable when the day is moving fast.
Teaching style
We use a design-thinking approach, which for us means we start with the child and the teacher, not the worksheet. We look at the challenges that actually come up in a classroom, build a first version, then test and refine it until it holds up in practice. That process shows up in the details: clear visuals, flexible formats, and materials that fit into a real schedule rather than adding to it.
Awards & shining teacher moments
Bryce was selected to present at Frog Street Splash 2026, a national early childhood education conference, and is pursuing an Ed.D. in Education and Leadership at Rockhurst University, with doctoral research on how early childhood educators support young learners who are neurodivergent and linguistically diverse.
Maegen is an accomplished art educator and instructional leader. Her students have earned top honors at the state level, including a Platinum distinction at the Visual Arts Scholastic Event, and that eye for design carries into the original illustrations across our resources.
My own education history
Our training spans both sides of the classroom. Bryce came through a traditional teaching-preparation path with a degree in interdisciplinary studies, and Maegen's background is in studio art, which is where our original illustrations come from. Together we also hold degrees in curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, and educational administration, and Bryce is completing an Ed.D. in Education and Leadership. That preparation is what shapes the instructional design, accessibility, and behavior support built into every resource.
Additional biographical information
Everything we make comes back to one belief: classroom resources should make life easier for both educators and children. The best materials aren't just attractive. They're clear, inclusive, practical, and flexible enough to work with real learners on real school days.
Raising neurodivergent children gives us a personal stake in early childhood education, special education, communication, behavior support, and self-regulation. We combine professional training, lived experience, thoughtful writing, and original illustrations to make resources that help children feel understood, capable, and successful.
