About · The Guy
Mike Appy
Mike. April 2026.

The guy with the spoons.

This whole journey started a little over four years ago, in 2022. One day I saw a picture of myself from that summer by the pool and absolutely hated what I saw.

I had always been an athlete. Served in the military. Coached wrestling for 10 years. But somewhere along the way I had really let myself go. Years like that.

Cooking didn't come easy at first. I started with simple dishes and somehow still managed to set off the smoke detectors more times than I'd like to admit. I had to learn everything. How to use a pan. How flavors work together. How to make meals that were simple and actually tasted good.

I'm 41 now. I started cooking at 37. I'm now the healthiest I've ever been, and I had never made anything from scratch before.

The 3rd incredible meal has been made following another Mike recipe. Honey ajvar chicken! I have never had ajvar or even heard of it and wasn’t sure about it. But after using the recipe and mixing it with honey, this is an incredible dish”

“Judging by the diarrhea outbreaks across the nation, it seems Mike has become a best selling author with his shitty cookbook full of easy, macro friendly meals that the whole family will enjoy. Link below for toilet paper use ONLY.

“For everybody who bought Mike’s ebook (I did) do yourselves a favor and scroll past page 3. It’s enough to throw up whatever delicious recipes he has in there”

Also real posts. I haven’t blocked any of them yet.

“It’s a bunch of stuff I would and will make. I’m kinda picky with that shit too. It’s not gross bland 90s bodybuilder shit.
