I loved it so much
Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2025I was super excited to read this one as Mr. & Mrs. Smith is one of my favorite movies. I just loved Devilry she's such a great main character and I loved that she's a total badass. Ravager is such a great partner for her. They have this steamy connection and banter that kept me giggling through the whole book when they aren't trying to kill each other. I enjoyed the references to Home Alone while they traversed the house. I laughed so hard through this book.
This was a fast paced story with just the perfect balance of story to spice. The characters are easy to connect with and I couldn't help cheering them on in the faery world adventure. The author did a beautiful job creating a captivating story that I couldn't put down. I loved every moment of our thieves story. My only complaint was that I wanted more and I wasn't ready for it to end. It's a fantastic story and perfect for the holiday season. Every book by the author just get's better. This may be my favorite but I'm kind of partial to Devilry because she's awesome.

Two rivals. One heist. Endless chaos and chemistry.
Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2025This book was such a fun ride! It’s packed with chaos, clever twists, and a rivalry that keeps you guessing the whole way through. Every chapter had me smiling, laughing, and wondering what kind of trouble was coming next.
Devilry and Ravager were such a blast to read. Their banter was sharp, playful, and just the right amount of chaotic. You never quite know who’s winning their little games, but watching them go head to head was half the fun. The chemistry between them jumps off the page and makes the story fly by.
It’s fast paced, funny, and the kind of story that leaves you grinning when you turn the last page. Definitely one I’d recommend when you’re in the mood for something entertaining and full of attitude.

I love it!! Ravager and Devilry are both wicked and full of mischief
Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2025I really enjoyed this! The author likening it to Mr and Mrs Smith (one of my favorite movies) got me to preorder this.
And it definitely delivered! Two thieves who beat the crap out of each other - sometimes with sharp objects - who end up joining forces to battle a common enemy.
There were some moments that surprised me and at point, someone gets maimed and I wasn’t quite expecting it and was devastated lol
It’s a fun, violent rom com with great world building and two leads who have more in common than they think.

Fun read
Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2026I really liked this book. It was a good comeback from the second book of which I was not a fan. It was fun, fast paced and the chemistry between the main characters was on point.
I wish the author would advise us if she plans to continue the series. She hints that there is another story and i hope there is another one.

So much fun!!
Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2025A Heist for Filthy Rivals was an absolute blast from start to finish. As the third entry in the Mythic Holidays series, it brings so much chaotic energy. Even though it is the least "holiday" themed of the series so far it does have some very fun Home Alone nods woven into the mayhem. It’s very spicy, wildly entertaining, and honestly might be my favorite of the series so far. I was laughing out loud one minute and basically sobbing at some scenes towards the end, which is exactly the emotional whiplash I seek.
Ravager completely stole the show for me. His cockiness, his swagger, the way he just eats up every scene he’s in. I just adored him. His banter with Devilry had me full-on giggling, and their enemies-to-lovers arc hits just right. The switch from literally stabbing each other to… decidedly not stabbing each other? A+. Their chemistry is unhinged in all the right ways.
The heist itself is a blast, too. Sometimes literally. Booby traps, monster chaos, rivalry-fueled pettiness, all wrapped up in that signature Rebecca Kenney style. And that final moment, when a certain someone asks Ravager for advice on women? 🤣 I absolutely lost it.
I had so much fun reading this, and I can’t wait to see what comes next in this world.

This series continues to delight!
Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2025This is hands down my favorite series from this author. I love that we get a new story in this series each year at the holidays! Each book is dark and delicious, with characters who are imperfect and flawed and are just so so good for each other.
Heist is a fantasy blend of Mr. and Mrs. Smith with some Die Hard thrown in, revolving around an epic Fae heist. The FMC Devilry is a fearless black cat leader, and Ravager, the MMC, is the leader of another thieves group in the same city. And these two?! TOP tier banter! Like if banter is your jam, then these two deliver an A+ game on that front.
The world and setting in this one is so vivid and creative. There are dangers in every room, and Devilry and Ravager have to work together to make it back alive. Ravager is a bit of a golden retriever, and his "he falls first" energy is such a joy to read about. Yeah, I kinda loved him.
I couldn't stop reading this one, basically read it in 2 sittings. I love the world that Rebecca has created with this series and I hope we get a new one in 2026!

I liked the first two better
Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2026Nothing against it. It just wasn’t my thing. I didn’t bother to read the description. I was just excited for the next mythic holidays book. If I had I would have skipped it. But if you like Mr & Mrs Smith violency style stuff then you’ll probably enjoy it.
