Good food. Good neighbors.
Lock 19 started with a simple idea: make the kind of burger we'd want to feed our own kids, and give folks a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy it. Real beef, real ingredients, nothing you need a chemistry degree to pronounce — the way a burger was always meant to be made. We began in a food truck back in 2021, outgrew it faster than we expected, and moved into the old gas station on Mulholland to open up some room.
We buy what we can from the people around us — jalapeños, tomatoes, and herbs from farms just down the road, picked close to when they land on your plate. It costs a little more and it's worth every penny: you can taste the difference, and the money stays in town with folks we know.
There's a long communal table in the middle, built from a reclaimed bowling alley floor. It's where neighbors end up talking and strangers turn into regulars — which is the whole point of the place.
