More than 6.7 million Ukrainians have been forced from their homes due to Russian destruction
The vast majority are women and children. Grandmothers and mothers forced to leave everything behind and make a new life in a strange country while their husbands, fathers, and brothers continue to fight at home.
Many host countries such as Moldova, Poland and Czechia have opened their doors, but are struggling to support so many people in need. Citizens of these countries have opened their hearts, providing apartments, jobs, and supplies, but it's still not enough.
Refugee centers and camps are filled, and many are having trouble coping. Food shortages and a general lack of resources are stretching volunteers to their limits.
We are raising money to directly help these centers provide for those under their care.
We will be hosting a twitter space soon to hear from people on the ground in effected areas.
All funds raised will be transferred to the target refugee center on a rolling bi-weekly basis.
