Safety at Quouch

A vetted, actively moderated community. Profiles and reports are reviewed weekly. Have a look at the guidelines before joining.

SafetyCommunity Guidelines

A lot of people arrive invited by friends, which keeps an extended family vibe. If you register without a friend code, the Quouch team reserves the right to review you before you're in.
This is not a dating app. Respect pronouns, and ask if you're unsure / they’re not on display. Your boundaries come first, always reach out if something looks or goes wrong. Neither nudity nor sexual content is allowed. Don't bring cis, straight, dyadic men into the platform - there are dozens of travel & hangouts platforms for them. Read the full Community Guidelines, we take them very seriously and any breach might cause immediate, uncontestable expulsion.
Reports are managed by the Quouch team. Please, never hesitate to report a profile if something looks or goes wrong. Your experience is always kept anonymous by default.
We understand meeting with strangers always carries a risk component. We encourage folks to always call or videocall in-chat, especially before a couch-surfing experience. If some of the parties won't and it looks sketchy, walk away and let us know.

88% of folks who try hosting become regular hosts.

Used Quouch for a solo trip to Lisbon and somehow found my new favorite humans. Every queer person should know about this app <3 10/10 would rather stay with queer folks than gamble with random hostels again.

Quouch feels like if couchsurfing grew up and got queer therapy. Everyone I hosted was kind, respectful and actually came to connect, not just crash and go. I’ve met people I’ll keep in my life for a long time 🧡

Found Quouch before my trip to Amsterdam and honestly didn’t expect much, but it completely changed how I travel. Felt safe, understood and somehow ended up at a WILD karaoke night with new friends (lmao). Already planning my next trip!
