I am a machine learning researcher at Apple working on multimodal foundation models.
Previously, I was a PhD student at Statistical Natural Language Processing Group at Heidelberg University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Riezler. My work focused on human-AI interaction and grounding natural language processing in geodata and was supported by a Google Focused Research Award. During my PhD I interned at Amazon and Google DeepMind.
I obtained my bachelor's and master's degree in Computational Linguistics at Heidelberg University and spent time as a visiting graduate student at the NLP Lab at University of Waterloo. During my masters I worked on semantic parsing, active learning and summarization, and interned at IBM, Nuance and Bosch AI.
