From impressive scales to unexpected adaptations, this special showcase brings out incredible reptiles you won’t typically find on display. Whether you're a lifelong reptile fan or just curious, this is your chance to see these amazing creatures up close like never before!

Ages 10+. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

Snakes are the stars of our popular Art & Animals.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind paint night featuring a short program featuring 3 of The Creature Conservancy’s favorite snakes including a Burmese python, indigo snake, and jungle carpet python.

Guided by a local artist, Sandra Stuetzler, you’ll be led step-by-step in creating your own snake collage—no painting experience required! All supplies are included; just bring your favorite snacks and nonalcoholic drinks, and get ready for an unforgettable evening of art and animals.

This event is held in our Education Center located at 4940 Ann Arbor Saline Road, Ann Arbor, MI. 48103 (It is adjacent to our parking lot and looks like a farmhouse with a porch on the front).

Get a behind the scenes look into animal behavior and training techniques with our animal trainer, Kate Wilson, at our first-time ever official animal behavior event!  She’ll share some of our training protocols for enrichment and veterinary care for a variety of our animals including the clouded leopards, donkey, skunk, reindeer, mongooses, and more.

Walk around to see the display animals at your own pace between 7 and 7:30. The program begins at 7:30.

Preregistration is required. Ages 18+ $25 per person.

Join us for our highly-anticipated tortoise yoga class! This all-levels yoga class will give you the chance to get up close and personal with a variety of tortoise species. Guests can join us in our classroom for a 45 minute gentle yoga flow with the opportunity to feed our giant tortoises, Charles and Emma! Whether it’s your first yoga class or your 100th, this will be an unforgettable experience!
